Absorption Dehumidifiers

Adsorption dehumidifiers use a rotating wheel (rotor) coated with a moisture-adsorbing material, typically silica gel, to extract water vapor from the air. Unlike condensing dehumidifiers, which rely on cooling to remove moisture, adsorption units operate effectively in low-temperature environments and can achieve extremely low dew points, even below -60°C. These systems are ideal for applications requiring precise humidity control, such as pharmaceutical storage, food production, and archival preservation. Their ability to function efficiently in cold and unheated spaces makes them a preferred choice for industries where condensation-based solutions may struggle.

TFT Dry Air Solutions has developed the line AD (Air Dry) to respond to the need for dehumidification to extreme temperatures (below 0°C) and very low humidity values. The dehumidifiers in this line are particularly suitable for continuous operation stationary and mobile. To limit the energy consumption resulting TFT proposes integrative solutions as the Heat Recovery Systems capable of recovering up to 60% of the heat generated by the machine to re-enter the cycle of operation, generating a considerable saving.
